What's your number?

Half the fun of being single is going on lots of dates in the aid of research in finding Mr Right, right? Making mushy eyes over a quarter chicken at Nandos, choosing a scary movie just so he can put his arm around you. It's brill! But what if the number of dates you've been on puts off your potential 'the one'? Yikes!

In new flick What's Your Number (out NOW!), Ally (Anna Farris) looks back over her last 20 relationships and wonders if she's missed out on 'the one'. Ever wondered how many dates you reckon it takes to find them? Or would someone who's been on lots of dates put you off going out with them? Twentieth Century Fox has joined forces with My Single Friend to find out what we really think!

Out of 14,308 people asked 'Would you prefer the number of dates you have been on to be lower?' 81% of those who said yes were women! And 73% of those who said no were male. Sounds about right, they probs up their numbers anyway!

9,612 were asked 'Would someone who's been on a large number of dates put you off?' 67% of no category was male. Right boys, so if we said we'd dated 50 guys before you, you'd be totes cool with it? Um, no. 72% of yes category was female. Too right!

The most important quezzie was 'how many dates do you think you will go on before finding the one?' And the answer?
Out of 18,671 asked, the top answer was a budget busting 20-30. Blimey, that's a whole load of trips to the coffee shop, dinners in Pizza Express, laps of the ice rink!

So what do you think, what's your number?
