Famous Cosmetics are BACK!
Last week saw the exciting relaunch of Famous Cosmetics and can’t wait to share the exciting products with you! From brilliant bronzers to pretty nail polishes, these are definitely makeup bag essentials.
We caught up with Sue Moxley, Celebrity Makeup Artist and Brand Founder about the relaunch…
Congrats on the new collection! One of our fave products are the pretty palettes, how do you decide which colour eyeshadows to use?
Thank you! Well you always need a brown/nude coloured palette because it suits everyone’s skin tone and it’s the best for day to night looks. Also grey and black eyeshadows are fab for all skin tones and look best with evening wear or to dress up an outfit if you are going for a night out with the girls! The remaining colours are taking from colour trends seen on the catwalks for this spring/summer so every Famous girl can be bang-on-trend with one of our palettes!
We love the packaging too, how did you come up with the ideas?
We wanted something a bit different but still glamorous but also young and funky, I think the new range fits the bill and is something girls will be proud to pull out of their makeup bag.
What is your favourite product from the new collection, and why?
It is so hard for me to narrow it down to one because the entire collection is so fabulous but if I could only take two things with me it would be the gorgeous bronzer pots as they are fantastic and give you a subtle tan. I also love the Feel The Heat Wash Off Shimmer Tan as it applies really smooth and evenly for a radiant glow.
What are your three must have products from the collection for a night out?
Well I would have to say the No Shine Face Powder to get rid of any shine or grease. The Spot Light Lipgloss of course would be a must have because its perfect for reapplying on a darkened dance floor! And if you are staying over a friend’s house after your night out then Into The Shadows Under Eye Concealer is the perfect product to pack as it will leave you looking fresh and wide awake!
Finally, do you have any makeup tips for us?
My top tip to prevent those oops makeup moments is to make sure you blend your foundation or Famous Full-Cover BB Foundation under your chin and down your neck not just your face. I saw a newsreader the other day who had a completely different colour face to her neck, not a good look!
