T4 rumours, Rita's return, the Snoop on the voice...
Thursday's news! 31/05/12
THE T4 RUMOUR MILL
Looking forward to T4 on the Beach this year? We'll be there in force, if not for the amazing acts, then at least to find out if any of the recent gossip is true. Like whether or not Millie Mackintosh has really requested to share a dressing room with Professor Green. Or if Rita Ora will be bringing current BF Rob Kardashian with her. Or, our fave rumour of the lot, will T4 original June Sarpong be jumping out of a giant Birthday cake to celebrate? Only one way to find out - for more info and tickets, head to www.channel4.com
COULD RITA RETURN?
She impressed us at the X Factor auditions and she seemed to impress the rest of the room too, so could Rita Ora return as a permanent judge on the show? Sounds like she's keeping her options open after revealing to Capital FM: "I said, whenever they need me, give me a call. I mean, obviously, I'm doing my own shows and I've got my album coming out, I'm still finishing my album. So obviously my music is the most important (thing), but there's a mixture. Whenever I can of course I'll be right back here." Sounds promising, but do you think she has what it take to be a permanent judge, or do you think pop pros like Nicole Scherzinger and Geri Halliwell would do a better job? Thoughts below...
SNOOP DOGS THE VOICE
As if The Voice doesn't have enough people dissing it's format already, rap star Snoop Dogg has decided to get in on the hating too. The Daily Star reported Snoop as saying: "The Voice don't understand that you need more than a voice to be an artist. You could have the best voice ever, but be as boring as hell. I don't see it producing a One Direction or Susan Boyle." Snoop listens to 1D and SuBo? Hands up who's dying to hear what's on his iPod now?
NO S CLUB...JUST NO!
The return of the '90s pop bands. It was good with Take That, it was bad with Steps and it just got downright ugly with the most embarrassing performance ever from S Club. Or should we say just three of S Club. Whilst Bradley, Jo and Paul warbled away on Australia's The Morning Show whilst on tour (eh?), we imagined the rest of the group were busy buying disguises so they couldn't be dragged back for a reunion tour later in the year. From the over excited presenters (one of them being Dannii Minogue) to the seriously dodgy outfits choices (that means you Jo), it's a super cringey 7:05 mins of TV. Which, of course, means you HAVE to watch...
